About me

Hello! I’m Camimellow, an Independent artist based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. I moved here from a small town in the U.S. during middle school. While being an overall positive experience, being placed in a different culture makes you very aware of your identity from a young age. Although I always knew I wanted to do something creative for work, it was during that transition that I realized I wished to share my stories and emotions in the form of art for others to relate to.

I mostly work in digital programs such as Procreate, but use traditional mediums like acrylic paint, gouache, and colored pencils as well. I also very much enjoy beading and sewing!

In my teenage years I was very inspired by music, so you will see a lot of fanart in my portfolio. But now as an adult I’m finding my voice and inspirations to create new pieces and ideas based on my own experiences and dreams. I am a very visual person in the way that my emotions, feelings and experiences are often stored as images and colors in my mind. Therefor in my art, color holds much meaning. I hope that looking at my work lets you feel the emotions I planted in my pieces and helps you grow as a person like I am!
