Beaded Logo

This is a little piece I made for fun, not really for any sort of project in particular. I was in a craft store and I saw the bead section and I got a few different kinds because they were so pretty, but I didn’t have anything planned. So I made a design to use them. That design ended up becoming the character in my logo, Melo! This was the first time I had ever used beads in any of my sewing projects, but I really enjoyed it. It took quite a long time since I embroidered every bead on their own and re-enforced all of them at least once. I also changed the colors around from the design after I started, since I didn’t think filling the wings would be a good idea and I really wanted to use the metallic mint beads. Although I didn’t have any project in mind when making this, I would like to use it somehow. So I was thinking of using it as the front panel of a purse or some type of clothing.
