I made this piece for my friend’s birthday. It is based on the character Broffina from the game Animal Crossing. It’s my friend’s least favorite villager on her island, so I thought it would be funny to make a version of my friend as Broffina and combine their names.

I started by making a digital sketch of the design for her and then made a skeleton for the clay from wire and aluminum foil. After I coated it with a layer of air-dry clay, I started sculpting the details like her jacket, feathers and beanie. I then painted her using acrylic paint, sealed it in with a matte top coat, and attached her glasses as the final touch!
